Jean's Deli

Need a great lunch with a little atmosphere? Jean’s is the place! On North Second Ave, between Washington and Bell, Jean’s is located in the historic St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. I believe it was built in 1896. This is not the original location of the church.

Try the “honey bun”…or the “lemon lush”. You won’t be disapointed.

  1. Elle est belle cette église, mais je me pose la même question que Z

It is beautiful this church, but I put myself the same question as Z

  2. Reminds me of a place in Texas — I think it was Livingston or Huntsville. Everybody would say, “you want to go to the church for lunch?” Confused me the first time, but the barbeque was the best. I’m sure there is a similar story on how this came about.

  3. It is nice to see old buildings used in new ways. If one weren’t to make it into a home, a restaurant would do nicely. Lemon lush, orange oh-my, melon madness – anything with names like those would intrigue me.

  4. This is where my hubby and I had lunch last year on our most wonderful vacation!!
