Tell It Like It Is!

On our camping trip, Grandma (that would be me) wanted a bottle of wine with dinner. I drove back the 4 miles to Northlund, a spot in the road on Marstone Island. This sign struck my funnybone…it was the only store in town.

  1. What was your selection? I checked http://www.washingtonwine.org which indicated Washington is the second largest premium wine producer in the United States with over 400 wineries. Of the nine Viticultural Areas the two I though sounded most interesting were Walla Walla Valley and Rattlesnake Hills.

  2. At least there was truth in advertising! I recently found out that our little town is home to 27 wineries! I knew about the big ones, but had no idea about all those little ones.
